A healthy cake, sweetened with Tufah Apple syrup ( no sugar)

  • 250ml vegetable oil, or melted butter
  • 250ml Tufah Apple Syrup
  • 200 ml milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla
  • 300g wheat flour
  • 2 Teaspoon baking powder
  • 25g of cacao powder

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the oil, Tufah Apple Syrup, milk, and eggs.
  • Mix thoroughly to achieve a homogenous batter.
  • Separate the mixture into two equal pieces.
  • Mix in 175g of wheat flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder to the first component.
  • Mix with the second portion 125g of wheat flour, 25g of cacao powder, and 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Sweep a 25 cm tray with butter and sprinkle with flour.
  • Place 3 tablespoons of white batter in the center of the tray, followed by 3 tablespoons of cacao batter.
  • Repeat this procedure until the blend is complete.
  • Place it in the oven on the middle rack for 40 minutes.


*It goes well with a cup of tea or coffee sweetened with Tufah Apple Syrup.
